Terms of service
These terms govern the use of the ParcelGrid package mirror. By creating a workspace or using a token you accept them on behalf of the organisation you represent.
1. Service and provider
The service is operated by ParcelGrid Labs OÜ, Tallinn, Estonia (registry code 16482917). It fetches packages from public registries, stores verified copies and serves them to the customer's build systems.
2. Accounts, workspaces and tokens
Each workspace belongs to one organisation. Tokens are credentials: keep them in a secret store, never in a repository, and revoke a token as soon as it may have been exposed. The customer is responsible for requests made with its tokens.
3. Acceptable use
- Do not use the service to distribute malware, unlawful content or packages you have no right to distribute.
- Do not attempt to access another workspace's cache, credentials or usage data.
- Do not probe, scan or load-test the service outside the published rate limits.
- Do not resell capacity as a public registry without a written agreement.
We may throttle or suspend a workspace that endangers the service or other customers, and will notify the workspace owner in writing unless the risk requires immediate action.
4. Third-party packages
Mirrored packages remain subject to their own licences; the service grants no rights to them. Availability of a package does not mean it is free of vulnerabilities: pin versions, run your own audit tooling and treat a digest mismatch as a failure.
5. Availability and support
The service is provided as described on the pricing page, with support levels per plan. Maintenance windows are announced on the status page. The service is not a backup of the public registries and must not be the only copy of packages that cannot be re-downloaded.
6. Fees, billing and taxes
Fees are billed monthly in advance and annual commitments are discounted as published. Overage is charged in arrears. Prices exclude VAT; EU business customers with a valid VAT ID are invoiced under the reverse-charge mechanism. Invoices are due within 14 days.
7. Data and logs
Request metadata, token events and usage figures are processed as described in the privacy policy. Access logs are retained for 30 days, billing records for the period required by tax law.
8. Suspension and termination
The customer may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period and caches are kept for 30 days. We may terminate for material breach, for non-payment after a reminder, or if continued service would be unlawful.
9. Liability
The service is provided without warranty of uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees paid in the twelve months before the event, and we are not liable for lost profits or indirect damage. Nothing in these terms limits liability for intent, gross negligence or statutory consumer rights.
10. Changes to these terms
Substantial changes are announced by email to workspace owners at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
